Daniel Luque was the center of attention of the afternoon. Without a doubt. The brave Sevillian bullfighter showed his impressive current form, obtaining two ears, one from each bull, which could have been three if it were not for the short thrust he gave to the sixth, which he finally dominated at will.

That was Luque’s most outstanding performance, demonstrating his wisdom and experience to transform a mediocre bull into one that seemed superior. He caught it with the muleta until finally dominating it to his liking with the natural. With the third, which had the same quality but lacked breed, he fought with the cape in slow motion and knew how to take advantage of the condition of his adversary to win a trophy. A great afternoon for him.

Sebastián Castella was very comfortable with his two bulls. He caressed the charge of his first and lived up to the excellent fourth, from the explosive start in the center of the ring to the tight end with manoletinas. In both cases, the sword deprived him of a prize.

It was not the best afternoon for Alejandro Talavante, who also had problems with the steels. Better in the second than in the fifth, the Extremaduran bullfighter showed isolated details of his undeniable quality, but without achieving a complete task.

Among the crews, Iván García performed a memorable third of banderillas in front of the sixth. His two pairs were undoubtedly the best of what we have seen of the fair so far.
