The Great Bullfight on 24 June in Alicante

The Alicante Bullring has organized, as a culmination to its Hogueras Fair, a serious and uniform bull run with bulls from the prestigious Victorino Martín ranch.

This event has generated great expectation among Alicante fans. Rafelillo and Manuel Escribano, who triumphed last year with the same ranch, will share the ring with the undisputed winner of the recently concluded San Isidro Fair: Borja Jiménez.

The bulls of the ranch, recognized by its emblematic crowned “A”, have already been selected both by the Mare Nostrum company and by its breeder. The bull run is composed of three five-year-old bulls and three four-year-old bulls, standing out for their pair conformation. Their names are Boliviano, Disparate, Esquinero, Bombacho, Cobrador and Verdadero.

The Victorino Martín ranch is one of the most recognized in the world of bullfighting. Its prestige is due to the bravery, nobility and strength of its bulls, which have starred in memorable afternoons in the most important squares in Spain.
